The Neopolitan pizza gem in midtown run by Giorgia Caporuscio. She is a female pizziola powerhouse and I can’t tell you how delicious my experience was. You have to go yourself. The pizza was what one would say “transports you to the source” and I agree… with myself. Without knowing the exact products used I can only assume they are nothing but the best of the best; flour, tomatoes, mozzarella.
What to get: everything and anything. I can only imagine it’s all delighfully perfecto! But, I had these items below (description from the menu):
Croccante
boston lettuce, oranges, red beets, shaved pecorino, orange-lemon dressing (v)
Montanara Classica
lightly fried pizza dough topped with our signature tomato sauce, imported smoked buffalo mozzarella, pecorino romano, basil, finished in wood-fired oven
Pistacchio e salsiccia
fresh mozzarella, fresh pistachio pesto, sausage, basil
Angioletti with Nutella
Lightly fried dough strip drizzled with Nutella & finished with a dusting of powdered sugar
