Take Me to Margaritaville

fullsizeoutput_ca3.jpg

First things first about Margaritas... I know they are made with squeezed lime, tequila, and simple syrup, but there could be other exceptions too right? Like when you see vibrant yellow Meyer lemons at the store that yell out summertime. And yesterday sure did feel like summer while the sun was blazing down on me as I was trying to capture the right moment of the drink before the sugar started to bubble. For me, what makes a beverage more drinkable is something with effervescence and light acidity. I almost always crave citrus when I'm thirsty and this is just enough to quench ones thirst while feeling good too. So, my go to drink of choice will always be thirst quencher like the Meyer Lemon and Bubbly Lime Margarita.
